From the start, we brought different perspectives to our life’s work. 

Tysan works off strong intuition and knowledge of alignment built from a professional dance career. Zenon placed a high emphasis on focus and precision from studying martial arts.

By integrating our talents together, we nailed down a system that is reflective of Tysan’s deep understanding of subtlety, alignment, and movement with Zenon’s ability to systematically develop strength and precision.

Through our work together, and years of experience, we created a system that people really embrace.

So here’s what we figured out after putting our talents together…

Let’s back this up a little bit… did we mention we are married?

Yup… we are. We’re happily married with 3 girls…

When we met each other, we were both recruited to dance with a Classical Chinese Dance Company. Zenon was recruited because of his martial arts background, and Tysan was recruited because of her dance and choreography background.

The company was formed by our fellow friends from the Falun Gong community, which you probably heard of because of how badly it is persecuted in China. China also went through a cultural revolution in the late 60s to early 70s because traditional Chinese culture and communism mix like oil and water.

The company wanted to revive the beauty and wisdom of Chinese culture, and we both knew we had to be part of that effort.

Through sweat and tears, we came to know each other well. After hanging up our dance shoes, we really wanted to develop a program that leads people towards living a rich and healthy life… A life that our art and training for performance brought us to.

5 Elements of Fitness

The 5 elements of fitness are inspired by the Chinese 5 Element Theory. They will inform you about where you are today, and what you need to get to the next level.

Each element builds upon the next. They relate to each other cyclically to create harmony, and provide you with systematic variety so that your body doesn’t plateau, or suffer from repetitive stress injuries.

Full Circle of Health

Once you are working on performing more powerful movements, and getting into rhythm with the seasons, you’ll come full circle to 1, alignment, since adding power or changing things according to the new seasons requires making adjustments to your alignment, stability, strength, and coordination.

Element 1:

This is all about getting your body, mindset, and life into alignment with your goals. 

You start with your body and learn how to stand tall, align your joints well, and release unwanted tension so that it becomes easier to move in alignment. 

You align your focus with your goals and daily tasks. You make sure that your home, schedule, and support system are clear of clutter and aligned with your goals. You prepare your health by prepping your kitchen and pantry with nourishing foods.

This is all about creating stability around your joints so you can maintain your alignment, and build healthy boundaries so you can maintain your new routines.

You focus your attention on building healthy boundaries so external factors such as the demands of life, stress, relationships, work, and even emotions don’t pull you out of alignment. You learn how to shop and prep your nourishing foods with ease. Ensuring the improvement of stability in your body, focus, and kitchen gives you a strong foundation on the path to your goals.
