Have you noticed the changes outside? It is “feeling” is more and more like spring. The air is different, the light is different, and it even smells different.
Things are just waking up again after the winter hibernation.
It is a time for new beginnings.
It starts small, with a small contracted seed, and suddenly grows and expands – marking the ascension of power.
After the snow has melted, the forest may still appear lifeless and gray. But before you know it (the very next day even) as the sun casts a pool of warm light, you suddenly notice the grass looking a little greener and the trees are now covered with buds delicately displaying new life.
Spring marks anticipation.
The energy is increasing and rising. If you’re relatively balanced, you’ll have MORE energy available for activity. You’ll get that urge to complete a project, or dive into something new. It’s the time for that.

- Move more, exercise more.
- Take action on your goals.
- Rise earlier. During spring, you ideally want to rise at sunrise (or just before).
- Go to bed a bit later (however we only mean going to bed at 11pm vs 9 or 10pm).
Because Spring is the season that rules goals, plans, action, and courage, this is a great time to make a transformative goal. You’ll have more courage to follow through!
